I build autonomous systems and test hardware — from an unmanned survey vessel field-tested at St Katharine Docks, London, to shock-and-vibration testing for aerospace and defense clients. Mechanical design, embedded systems, and the software that ties them together.
I'm a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at Northeastern University, now based on campus in Boston after completing my first year abroad in the London Scholar Program. I'm minoring in Electrical Engineering and Business, and I'm on Northeastern's PlusOne accelerated master's track: on course to finish my B.S. and a master's in 4.5 years total. My work sits at the intersection of mechanical design, embedded systems, and autonomous platforms.
My engineering interests range from autonomous marine systems and aerospace structures to motorsports — with a long-term goal of contributing to Formula 1 or the aerospace and defense industry. I believe the best engineers build things, break them, and build them better.
Outside of engineering, I'm a competitive rower, an avid skier, and an F1 enthusiast who thinks deeply about the engineering behind every lap time. I also enjoy working on my 1995 Toyota Tacoma SR5 — diagnosing electrical faults, restoring broken systems, and slowly building it out for overlanding.
A fully autonomous unmanned surface vehicle (USV) that navigates to GPS waypoints, winches a custom waterproof sensor pod down to profile water temperature, salinity, and light, and radios the data to shore over a 1 km verified link. Built with fellow co-founder Kyle Tran in one semester on a £100 budget and water-tested at St Katharine Docks, London. I co-led the mechanical and structural design in SolidWorks — including a Van Veen grab sediment sampler delivered with a full drawing package and BOM — and co-wrote the MicroPython firmware with Kyle. The team has since grown to four and is building V3.
An inventory management and checkout system built to replace a manual sign-out process for a lab's fleet of triaxial accelerometers. A Flask + SQLite web dashboard tracks checkout/return of a 125+ unit accelerometer inventory, with a planned scaled-up version adding RFID fob access, solenoid-locked drawers, and LED status indicators — plus real-time availability lookups for project engineers quoting jobs to customers.
A 10 × 7.5 × 3 ft freestanding golf practice net designed from the ground up. Features a custom PVC frame with 3D-printed ASA structural joints designed for UV and weather resistance, and repurposed HDPE construction netting — about $50 all-in. Every joint and connection point was designed in CAD before fabrication to ensure structural integrity under repeated impact loading.
A two-part magnetic quick-release that holds a fly rod on a fishing vest between casts. The vest-side housing carries pull loads through a ribbed internal gusset; the rod-side clamp snaps onto the blank with four curved spring fingers. Paired epoxy-coated N52 magnets are spaced to resist rotation and give a predictable release direction.
A reverse-engineered replacement tray for a worm composting system that only shipped with one cover. Modeled in SolidWorks to match the original's perforation pattern, grip divots, and vent slots exactly, then 3D-printed in ASA for outdoor durability. Now in active use as an additional tray.
A two-person build with classmate Kyle Tran: a tank-drive robot that autonomously maps and solves a previously unseen maze, running concurrent sensing, motor control, and pathfinding on a single Raspberry Pi Pico. Kyle led the robot's CAD and wrote the MicroPython firmware; I drew the early concept sketches, designed the test maze (AutoCAD layout and 3D-printed corner brackets that join its walls), and modeled smaller robot components while learning CAD from him.
Completed first year of Mechanical Engineering abroad in London. Coursework included Physics II, Calculus III, Differential Equations & Linear Algebra, and General Chemistry alongside a semester-long autonomous systems engineering project.
Designed and taught weekly VEX Robotics lessons for groups of 20 students aged 10–14, and provided one-on-one instruction to reinforce engineering and problem-solving concepts.
Designed and taught STEAM lessons for students ages 5–13 and gave talks on life skills drawing on personal experience.

I'm currently seeking a Summer 2027 engineering internship — mechanical design, test engineering, autonomous systems, aerospace, or motorsports. I reply to every message, and I'm happy to walk through any project here in detail.
